Convenient, centric, clean, calm and safe little room

I liked the centric, convenient location near the central station and the sights, the whole concept of the hotel, the communication with the staff by WhatsApp, the app, the hand-written(!) welcome note, coffee, tea bags, chocolate bar(!), the breakfast at Spor av Nord, the bathroom with toiletries, mirrors, wardrobe, desk, the cleanliness, the quiet by night, the luggage storage.

I did not mind the small space, but a large person with a large suitcase or more suitcases might feel differently. However, this is not a negative at all, and if the rooms were bigger, the price would be higher at such a centric location in Oslo. You cannot have everything, and I believe this is still your best option in Oslo centre for the price range, and I liked it.

Stay here! Comfortable, modern single-bed ensuites with toiletries, decent storage, and even a kettle. Entirely staff-free so you should be comfortable with keypads and using your phone to unlock doors. Right in the heart of town.

Some rooms face the street, others are quieter. The room was a little warm for the season.

You've got a friend in Bob

Brilliant all round. We visited in February. Great & easy to find location in the centre of Oslo, a short walk to the central station. There is no reception at Bob so access, check in and everything in-between is done through a private link you receive after booking. It's easy enough to navigate once you've got the hang of it. Access to a luggage room throughout the first and last day of our stay was ideal, allowing us to safely store our bags before checking in and after checking out without an extra fee. There's nothing worse than having to carry luggage around with you on the first day after an early flight. Bob is quick to respond to enquiries and keeps in touch to make sure everything is ok, we contacted via WhatsApp. The room itself is a good size, warm in the winter with everything you need including a hairdryer, fridge, kettle, coffee, iron & ironing board, fan and a decent shower. There are a few freebies too which makes the stay feel more like an AirB&B. Having breakfast included via two nearby cafes gave us 150NOK per person which comfortably covered a pastry and hot drink, we paid any excess for extra treats. Would definitely recommend to save money during the stay. Spor av Nord makes a great hot chocolate. Would highly recommend staying with Bob and will look out for other locations in the future.

The bathroom sliding door took a bit of getting used to and didn't lock, possibly from being installed the wrong way round. Wasn't an issue. Construction work across the road when we visited wasn't a great view but again, not an issue and to be expected in a city.

If you are travelling- it MUST be with Bob W!

Bob W is unlike any place I have stayed in before! It's super sustainable, team are responsive on WhatApp so fast, loving the technology with keyless entry and paying attention to the planet. It is located walking distance to everything Oslo has to offer. LOVED the extra personalised touch of the polaroid camera and the canvas bag to avoid bringing home excess plastic! Cannot wait to spread the joy of Bob W to everyone I know.

The place was perfect for solo travel. Its very conveniently located near the train station and is in the heart of Sentralen. It is well connected to public transport and is also walking distance from many historical and other touristic sites.

Good Value & Convenient Location.

Nice clean room and it was easy to access everything through the website link. Carmen helped me get an early check-in 2 hours before my regular time. She was great and this helped me settle in after the long transatlantic flight.

Overall very enjoyable stay

Very convenient location, nice apartment, kettle and fridge in the room, as well as a laundry facility in the building were very handy. Will definitely stay again.

The step at the entrance from the street is half ramp half step, so I fell rather badly when entering the building for the first time. Perhaps some signage could be handy to prevent further accidents. Also, there is ongoing construction next door with significant vibration, so earplugs do not help much. However, if you are there on business, you will have woken up by 7:30am when the works start.

Oslo was my first time at a Bob W, and I loved it! Great location and terrific customer service. I was a little worried that they didn't have a front desk; they communicated everything via a link and WhatsApp, which was wonderful. I have never had this level of thoughtful and helpful service. And I'm already looking to stay with them again!
